TuesdaysTogether Styled Shoot — Omaha, Nebraska

“When we came together to plan out a Nebraska-themed styled shoot, we would be lying if we said the thought of incorporating football and corn didn’t cross our minds! 😉 While the Nebraska Huskers are a religion around here and what most everyone associates with Nebraska, we wanted to showcase the perhaps lesser known beauties that our wonderful state has to offer. For example, did you know Nebraska has vineyards and wineries?! We are along the same latitude as France, so it makes sense that our warm seasons are perfect for growing vines and vines of grapes.

 

Soaring Wings Vineyard was the perfect place to set the scene for our “Good Life” shoot. The wind was blowing profusely as we setup our whimsical signage, paper goods, and tablescape, and as our bridal muses got dressed in their ethereal gowns and had their hair and makeup done so naturally and elegantly. The sun was shining and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky as our brides walked through the vineyards and our photographers and videographer captured the candid moments between these friends. Our full and lush florals captured a Nebraska summer day and signified our state flower, the goldenrod.

 

The wind finally subsided a bit, and we set up our delicate wedding cake atop a wine barrel to complete the look. As the day progressed into evening, we witnessed a heavenly prairie sunset over the hills of the vineyard. Nebraska, “The Good Life”, couldn’t have been any better that day!
