Today’s Instagram Challenge, Friday Introductions, have been inspired by YOU! Reading the introductions on the Rising Tide Society Facebook page has been one of the highlights of our week, and we hope it’s a tradition that continues as people join the community.

Krista Jones – Co-Founder

Hi friends! I’m Krista, one of the founders of the Rising Tide Society. I’m also a fine art film photographer and Graphic Designer for Creative Entrepreneurs alongside my husband Davey. We were married 2010 and we live on Kent Island with our two sweet pups – D’leh and Goose. When we’re not photographing weddings, launching websites or breaking Instagram with Rising Tide Society Challenges, we love working on our house, cooking, doing Crossfit, reading and spending time near the water.

I’m Natalie and I’m one of the Founders of the Rising Tide Society. I was born & raised in Annapolis, Maryland and believe life is always better by the Bayside. I am happiest with a camera in my hand, surrounded by good friends, holding a glass of white wine, with a puppy in my lap. I’m married to my high school sweetheart and I’m a total hopeless romantic.

Caitlin Kruse – Editor + Educator

Hi! I’m Caitlin, an editor at Rising Tide Society. I wear many hats these days as a new mom, the Editorial Director at the lifestyle website Glitter Guide and the co-founder of the MD//DC based wedding and styling company Kruse & Vieira Events. Oh — and I’ve ran my personal blog Style Within Reach for nearly 8 years! I’m pretty obsessed with Instagram, my daughter Piper Rose, a good bottle of rose, arranging flowers, picnics by the water, Italy and all things Italian and weekly Sunday night dinners at my parents. Spending time with my husband and our rescue pup Sullivan has been even sweeter since the arrival of our daughter 6 weeks ago.

- I was a somewhat serious ballet dancer for 8 years and still love to go see performances at the Kennedy Center once a year!
- In college I was an extra on Dawson’s Creek!

Hey y’all, I’m Davey. I’m the editor here at the Rising Tide Society, and one half of a film photography team with my beautiful wife, Krista. I think the perfect day would include the beach, a nap, some exercise, and little R&R with the wifey + pups. I wouldn’t complain if a book and Settlers of Catan were thrown in there, too.

Hey there sweet friends! I’m Lauren and I’m one of the editors here at the Rising Tide Society. I’m also a wedding and portrait photographer that believes in capturing and celebrating marriage through each and every season. I’m a believer, wife, photographer, dreamer, blogger, and friend who is in love with all things classic, romantic, and natural. A few things I’ve been loving lately are: genuine friendships, Netflix, quality time, and spending days by the sea.

Hello world of creatives, I’m Genevieve! My incredible sister-in-law Krista and brother, Davey, have recently welcomed me into the Rising Tide Society to help out with some administrative leg work. So this means that I have the pleasure of reviewing leader applications, managing Facebook groups, and doing a little website maintenance! When I’m not working with Rising Tide Society I am busy working for a non-profit out here in beautiful San Diego called Feeding America and I am also a full time student at San Diego State University.

Hi there, sweet friends! My name is Kerry and I am an aspiring digital media specialist and Junior at Providence College in Providence, RI. I live for blue skies and deep breaths of ocean air and on my days off you can find me sailing on the Narragansett Bay! I am oh-so passionate about social media and fascinated with the psychology behind it. I hope to create change in the world by promoting positive media that encourages transparency and authenticity in business.
